Our company is specialized in the design and manufacture of special purpose equipment for the food and pharmaceutical industry. In order to support our international growth, we are currently investing in our pharmaceutical engineering department and are recruiting an additional design/project engineer for our Kortrijk location.

Function:

• Production of general arrangement drawings and technical specifications.
• Production of full sets of detail manufacturing drawings for each project.
• Concept design of special purpose machinery.
• Project planning (using MS project) and customer liaison.
• Production of documentation including technical specifications, inspection check lists.
• Issuing of work instructions to shop floor so that customer specifications, CGMP and the quality are respected during production phase.
• Assisting in completing I/O lists, functional analysis, datasheets and the validation process.

Profile:

• Master degree in Mechanical or Pharmaceutical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient w/MS Office and Solid Works
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required; knowledge of other European languages is considered an asset
• Familiarity with the quality& validation systems and the processes used in pharma & biotechnology are clearly preferred
• Good organiser, self-starter and hands-on
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, experience in design engineering is a big plus
• Capable of generating realistic development plans and is prepared to meet the deadlines
