CES Immersion-Tunnel Freezer combinations are designed to combine the best features of nitrogen immersion, such as very high capacity and practically instant crust freezing, with the flexibility and efficiency if nitrogen vapor tunnels. The tunnel is used for pre- or postcooling, depending on the application. In either case, the cold nitrogen vapor generated by the immersion freezer is utilized for cooling of the tunnel, resulting in efficient use of the liquid nitrogen.
